These don't count toward the 50-state board, but they're real, spottable plates worth their own tally.

Washington, D.C.
A U.S. territory (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or the Northern Mariana Islands)
A Canadian province or territory (Ontario, Quebec, B.C., and the rest)
A Mexican state plate (Jalisco, Sonora, Chihuahua, and the rest)
A U.S. government plate
